I simply prefer to keep the rest of the world at a distance.
...yes. A robot in the shape of a character. They exist in my world in the more gaudier areas as a form of mindless entertainment, but I'm sure there's nothing quite as advanced out here. Very early models, if not entirely primitive. It's disturbing that they're capable of moving on their own to kill someone.
I suppose that does make it easier to figure things out... when you're not directly involved and you have no ties to the situation at hand you can just use the information given with no bias.
I still have a lot to learn about this world. Killer character robots... in a pizza establishment.
I'm an outlier in a lot of different senses. I wasn't assigned to a 'team'. I still have what I believe to be my own powers. I wasn't granted any by an unknown force. I was, instead, able to share my own...
But, yes, I'm afraid I don't remember anything about myself. Only recently have a few things come back to me. I believe one of the two you heard in that game was my... brother.
I [ then their side heads look to the center head. ] We must help him. I cannot leave him in such a position knowing that there is a chance that we might be kin... perhaps he has the answers I seek.
...no. [ their side heads look down. ] We do want to know the truth, but our heads are... empty. It's like it's all been locked away.
You do not strike me as the type to be "bad", even without memories. The powers you have supplied us with are suited for healing and protecting. That alone should give you a clue as to your true nature.
...that is reassuring to hear. In our heart we don't think we're 'bad', but you never really... know. [ collecting materials and stuff. i almost forgot wtf we were doing. ]
[ lol, yes, i remembered. it had taken me a bit. hydra vastella, incoming! ] I look forward to reuniting with him... then, perhaps, we can all leave this place.
[ His reaction is minimal, but it is there, like he's trying to repress a smile. ]
I am merely not an idiot. You possess interesting power and relation to the entities of this planet, and you are likely one of our few hopes of returning home.
[ snorts. ] I like to think there's more of a 'scale' to people than idiot and not an idiot. And time will tell. Until then, let us complete my head. I have a feeling I may be needing it soon...
I do too. Let us return to the church, so we can begin its construction. [ they take him by the shoulder and open a new portal, teleporting them both back. ]
Such strange technology... [ it's science not magic. ]
The structure of your skulls will likely require us to create three separate masks and join them together at the end once fitted. That should be the simplest method.
Re: day 30.
I wore it as intended. To conceal my emotions regarding that.
Re: day 30.
I heard of a deer woman, a cannibal killer, ...
It wasn't her, was it, ..?
I know that was its intended use, but he probably need you as you are now, Dr. Ratio.
Re: day 30.
...no. It was the... Pizzeria, was it? Something about killer animatronic robots or some equally as absurd.
Are cannibals common in this area?
Re: day 30.
Animatronic robot? [ what's that? for that matter, what's pizza? ]
I don't think so, but there seems to be one out there now.

Re: day 30.
Do you? I thought you were native here, is that not accurate..?
Re: day 30.
I don't know. I don't remember anything. Or... much of anything. A few small fragments here and there, but, like you, I just woke up here one day.
Re: day 30.
It seems most of us who arrive come with our memories in tact, so you seem to be an outlier in that sense.
Re: day 30.
But, yes, I'm afraid I don't remember anything about myself. Only recently have a few things come back to me. I believe one of the two you heard in that game was my... brother.
Re: day 30.
Does knowing that not bring forth any repressed memories? Is there nothing pulling at your mind, seeking to inform you of the truth?
Re: day 30.
...no. [ their side heads look down. ] We do want to know the truth, but our heads are... empty. It's like it's all been locked away.
Re: day 30.
I consider myself an expert in seeking out the truth of my own world. If anyone is capable of helping you discover the truth, it will be me.
Re: day 30.
[ they grow silent for a good, long time. ] We would appreciate that, Dr. Ratio.

You've gone to great lengths to assist us, even without your memories. Whatever happened, I do not believe you or your brother are at fault.
Re: day 30.
Re: day 30.
If that's a possibility, it would be nice. I will lend my assistance to whatever your efforts are to achieve that end.
Re: day 30.
I'm hoping so. And I will continue to hold onto that hope... for all of us. [ sets a paw on his shoulder. ] You are an upstanding person, Dr. Ratio.
